Great post, thanks for the contribution. Can't follow it as closely as I'd like as I'm still not following CBB or generating any forecasts yet. The 2 touchdown part was interesting. I still remember the Fly Me post from years ago when you suggested that games across different sports can be mutually dependent events in a sports betting market, sounded so crazy at the time. You fukk with the edibles still and that magic butter machine? I quit smoking a year ago, and dabbing/vaping 2 months ago. I only use homemade edibles, 1:1 ratio of hash rosin to coconut oil. Trying to get my family and relatives off the smoke, not sure of what kind of lung damage it causes. Even dabbing rosin doesn't seem healthy, the amount of plant material pulled could vary greatly depending on washing and pressing parameters and technique.

Smoking cannabis was not associated with impaired lung functioning for young adults in a new longitudinal study published in Respiratory Medicine. In contrast to another recent study suggesting that smoking cannabis is more likely to cause emphysema than smoking tobacco, researchers in this study found that smoking cannabis alone was not tied to reduced airflow or impaired lung functioning. Still limitations in both studies suggest that we still don’t have a clear picture of smoked cannabis’ effect on our lungs.

Lungs contain approximately 2,400 kilometres of airways and 300 to 500 million air sacs (alveoli).

There are about 600 million lung sacs (alveoli) in your lungs. If you stretched all of them out, they would be about the size of four and a half 18-wheelers parked next to each other.

Not sure what's worse dabs or smoke. I feel like the smoke fully combusts into a smoky, gaseous form where the dabs are more of a sticky, oily vapor potentially with more solids in it.


Humankind hasn't been dabbing that long, maybe we will see more health effects manifest down the line as we get more data.

Starting to like edibles more, you stay high for 4-5 hours as opposed to 1.5-2.5 hours with inhaling.

I think some of the issues with lung studies between smokers, at least in the past, has been that there are chemicals in the buds that can be protective to the body.

Incidents of things like lung cancer may not show because of the protection some constituent provides.

They're getting better at figuring this out though.

I have to think the worst thing for the lungs is any combustion.

The particulates are awful. Vaping has got to be better, just from a physics/bio stand point.

I wish they would alter these laws and allow a lot more studies to be done. By now they should have pulled this plant apart and put all the useful stuff into non harmful pills, or something similar.

We've been doing as patients all along, picking different things to dab and smoke and find what works best. They need to break the plant down more, then put it back together.

I think we, maybe not you so much anymore, get what we do and did from combusting because of the entourage effect, and the more immediate action.

Agree with edible length but I can't good relief with it throughout. When I try the dose is too much.

I get so much more control with dosage and scheduling with the more immediate ways. I've been trying so hard to just go to edibles and the best I've done is a more hybrid approach. Where the edible sets a base and then inhaling sort of re ups that base if needed. I will inhale less doing so.

I still prefer combustion over anything else, but I've been trying to change and be better.

I have read some serously admirable posts from you recently in that respect.

Also thanks for the kind words about the betting posts. Now, with all that topic in mind and context think of something I once tried to stress in the past.
