You take the wife and kids every Friday night to the Cracker Barrel.

I shouldn't jump ugly on Cracker Barrel.
There's one in the other mall we have in Fairfield County.
I like the mall in Trumbull ten minutes away from me.
There's a Cheesecake Factory in that mall, that's my favorite of all big chain restaurants.
We eat there often, or take out.
Pricey, but their food is prepared correctly every time.

The other mall is is in Milford.
That's like like a half an hour north of me going towards Boston.
Good mall too they don't have as many stores as Trumbull, but there's a Cracker Barrel, no Cheesecake Factory.

We decided to try it out Cracker Barrel about four years ago.
Surprisingly good.
They offer a country style mac and cheese on the menu.
Real tasty, but like 12 bucks with coffee and a salad.

I haven't made a mac and cheese that you make from a grocery store bought box that you dump into a pot after adding water.
The last time about was ten years ago, tasted like orange colored water.
I checked out the ingredients labeled on the side of the box.
All the ingredients contained words I can't pronounce, and more than likely came from a science lab, chemicals manufactured in a beaker heated with Bunsen burners.
No thanks, no more.
I make my M & C from scratch, takes 40 minutes to prep, another 40 minutes to bake, but it's worth is, I'm eating real food.
If I'm eating a boxed M & C, the only two worth considering are Boston Market, or Stouffer's.

Did you know Robert Bunsen, the famous German chemist who introduced the Bunsen burner.
The Bunsen Burner was the grandpa of today's modern gas stoves and water heaters.
Mr. Bunsen dedicated his whole life to science, and I salute him.

That's the son of one the greatest bowlers of all time Pete Weber, his dad was/is the Hall of Fame late, great Dick Weber.

Polar opposite personalities.
His dad Dick was super straight lace, family man, very proper.
Pete was (he's pretty clean now) a party animal, did entirely too much blow when he was younger, drank like a fish, and is still obnoxiously loud.

I know this because I was a serious bowler back in the day myself.
I just had a knack for it, I loved it.
