My dad was an independent contractor, did everything from plumbing to cutting concrete and he would have 'journeymen' work for/with him on certain big jobs. Another one of his "ism's" was "If you're on time, you're late". I still use that one today with flaky people, and I remember seeing an interview with Tom Coughlin where he used it about practice when he was HC of the NY Giants - - classic.....

Manster , billiards and boxing are the things
I'm best at athletics wise . I screwed myself on
chances of doing anything in both through injuries
and getting in trouble

Hitting fast pitch baseball , and anything on wheels
( skateboard or rollerblading) are the things im worst at

As far as arm movement , I always struggled with routine
cuz I loved to be fancy ( think Efren Reyes stroke)
Took a lot of time and practice to get down the fact
that you get more English by having your hand
on the shaft of the cue loose instead of tight grip
and to snap your wrist through your follow through
more than darting it through if you know what I mean
There's no real money in pool these days .
Everyone hustling everyone , and in the pro events
your traveling just to play winner takes all tourneys
against players who are all basically just as good as you
I'm glad you enjoy the game though ... I've bought
multiple tables throughout the years with not a
single table to my name these days ... always kept
Emma at other people's houses ... last table was turned
into a fukkin work bench... I got hurt and quit going
by my cousins house only to finally go into his garage
and he has oil, tool boxes ,and hundreds of pounds of
shit all over it . Bogus

Well now that would depend on the sport for sure and there would be different ways to do it.

Show me a sport and some initial lines and I just might teach the thread something.

Truthfully though, this isn't a season long thing so don't worry about how the originators set the lines, worry more about how the markets get massaged.

The post is probably right, there will be high juice and low limits so the books will minimize their risk for providing the action. So even the books don't care how they open, per se, it's how they manage the risk as action comes in that matters most.

If we can get a picture of a whole market, or even a day's market, and then consecutive days, depending on the sport, the books will eventually reveal their program. It really is a track your bets and why you made them sort of thing.

I doubt we see too much position taking by the books but that said I am sure we will see them steer money and eventually walk themselves and the bettors into positions. You really can do it in anything if you understand how the betting population will react.

If I'm watching and tracking, I will show how patience leads to profit. Maybe someone should start a thread.

In the end though but I doubt I pay too much attention to such small markets. Books know this, and will cater to the audience most likely to bet into the lower limits, and not the professionals. So Olympic betting should be a cakewalk if the time is put in.

The best way to get good at pool is to live with a pool table. I did, twice. I got very good, trick shots after pracitcing over and over, game after game, english every which way, even jumping the ball, which was highly discouraged...lol.

It is finesse over power for sure, even when you need power, it comes with more finesse.

But man it's been a long time since I played pool. A long time.

Later this month I will be gone, outright gone and possibly out of touch completely for a couple of days.

I have made arrangements to have most betting in my office continue, but it's possibe one or two days go by where I do not post Fund triggers. That is rare.

If it's the backbone I will have to put those plays in the tracking, posted or not, as any plays will be part of the index. Hopefully they lose so I won't have add it to every summary.
