I will not be eating a Thanksgiving dinner today with family.

My neice may have gotten a cold or flu, not COVID (she was tested) but my sister picked her up in So Cal and brought her up here last weekend.

She's better, but I can't take a chance of getting anything, not even a sniffle, because COVID has my dotors on edge and I have a very important meeting next week with them. It has to be in person.

If I miss that meeting I could put procedures back months, again, and I can't afford to do that. So I sent the family to my sister's and wil just take the chance that they don't bring anything back.

It's unfortunate but all about timing, really.
