#94327Leggoo Lefty!!!!
Ok I have some course info here.
We're in Napa California at the Silverado Resort and Spa, the North Course.
It’s a par 72 set up at about 7166 yards but I've noticed some of these holes will change significantly depending of course on whether we're talking to the pin or green, and the pin can really change throughout the weekend as they alter position.
Plenty of room to place pins as these greens average about 6200 square feet and are Bentgrass with Poa Annua. The stimp is 11.5 ft. and there will be pretty decent slopes on these greens.
The fairways are Bermuda grass with Poa Annua and Rye and the rough is Kentucky Bluegrass and Rye cut at 3" to start.
I count just a couple of potential in play water hazards, on the 11th and 15h par 3s. These fairway widths are about the same as the last two weeks and like last week this course is a tree lined classic set up. There will be dog legs and the fairways will not be easy to hit. This rough should be a little easier to climb out of than last week's Tifway Bermuda grass, even if it is a half inch taller than last week.
This course has those Napa Valley Oaks and even some Redwoods and the trees are placed to mess with the approach shots. Play is going to be all about placement and not just placing that drive for a good approach.
In my opinion, the most important placement will be on the green as pin positions can be in difficult to reach spots and these greens have undulations and like I said are considered sloping. When it comes to proximity to the pin when compared to other course on Tour, this one is in the top 50 percentile in difficulty.
Some of these greens will have short grass runoffs that will cause problems with misfired approaches so being able to scramble out of that rough to stick the green is going to be important. I'm looking for a golfer familiar with the west coast area that can step up in this lighter field, and can play well in this classical type course with these Poa Annua infested greens.
There's a lot of attention on two time winner Brendan Steele here and it's true, when it comes to driving accuracy, greens in regulation and scrambling in my recent performance skill metrics he is top 15, 20, and 10 respectively. When it comes to my recent strokes gained metrics he shows up as one of the best in nearly every category.
Si Woo Kim also ranks high in my putting per greens in regulation metric relative to the field but really shows up in all but the putting for the recent performance strokes gained metric. I can see why he is favored against the field in many spots.
I’m going to shy away from these two golfers here and stretch my blend of metrics, comfort, experience and spot betting.
Phil Mickelson may only be on my list of recent skills for scramblers and putters and recent performance for strokes gained around the green but those may be what count this weekend. On top of that, there might not be any golfer more comfortable playing some classic golf on a classic course, in California, on a Bentgrass/Poa Annua green than Lefty.
There's a spot here too as I believe he has been on the radar to draw money and I don't believe the senior tour victory settled those funds completely.
They could have settled though, putting could be the weakness and stamina is always an issue so I am striking at the first round leader as well and picked up…
Phil Mickelson +2706
Phil Mickelson 1st Round Leader +3300
BM with the best tourney winner line and Heritage, BOL, bet105, etc are holding the +3300 1st round price.
Good Luck.

#94330I think I say this every football season but I'm already sick of posting plays and trying to get them posted before line moves.
I expect to quit this soon.

#94357This has to be worth waaaay more tha 625K...
The United States Internal Revenue Service has offered a bounty of up to $625,000 to anyone who can break purportedly untraceable privacy coins such as Monero (XMR) as well as trace transactions on Bitcoin’s (BTC) Lightning Network.
The official proposal, published last week, says the IRS will accept submissions in the form of working prototypes until Sept. 16. If accepted, applicants will receive an initial payment of $500,000.
This grant will allow applicants to develop their prototype into a working concept over the next eight months. Once the pilot test is completed and approved by the government, a further $125,000 grant will be awarded.
The announcement defines the initiative’s primary objectives as helping IRS Criminal Investigation, or CI, special agents to trace transactions — including identifying wallets, transaction dates and times — and amounts transferred. The agency hopes to use the tools to predict the future transactions of flagged addresses. The final products must also provide CI full control, with the ability to further develop or modify them so that the organization does not have to rely on any external vendors.
Monero is one of the virtual currencies preferred among criminal organizations over more traceable crypto assets like Bitcoin. The IRS noted that XMR is being used for all future ransom demands and transactions by ransomware group Sodinokibi due to its “privacy concerns.”Comment -
