Actually, an edge in NFL games based on only handicapping turnovers used to be a goldmine, although it was more counter intuitive than most think.

Many in the circles of "meaningful bettors" including myself feel that this turnover edge has been the last great edge the NFL has seen.

Now that they messed with the extra point to erode the value of certain key numbers over time, I believe that thing about the last great edge even more.

Understanding that there are two halves to a season is the lesson that carries over from the ole turnover trick.

Understanding that there are two halves to each half of the season and that those first two and last two halves of halves require a different market approach is the advanced type of thing that results in discovering the lesson that carries over from an eroding edge and expanding on it.
