This is good. We need to make it actionable.

I think I want to generate some charts and data, then you can see what needs to be created.

The hard part is figuring out the relevant weight of factors that are relevant to begin with and then turning it into good numbers. That's can be so hard with slim margins that it's even better if we can lay the market environment over it. For example, why look for a good stock in a sector that's on its way down or failing?

It's pretty vague but it's a good idea to marry two theories.

One, the market is efficient.

and B, it's not always efficient.

Either way, if you understand why the line opens where it opens and moves to where it moves...well, you know.

There are those, even successful long term gamblers, who think that every game is independent of the next. I offer a different lens, one that sees the market as a whole and a system that is dependent on itself to survive. I know things about the gambling world that would make some professionals I know quit what they are doing. I don't tell them because they don't need to know to win.

This conversation runs pretty deep and many lean on the gamber's fallacy to prove a point. This is because it is difficult to completely wear a different lens and most gamblers will rely on the mainstream, which tends to lose at this game. They'll say they lost because of the vig, but anyone doing that is really just a step away from being a winner.

Most lose in a far worse fashion, like my MLB plays, which of course aren't as easy as making french fries...
