and then it requires taking more and on and on it snowballs

Keeping tolerance low is the key

for me , besides chilling my lunatic ass out , it helps quiet the nerve damage from the broken jaw

I’d say stick to no more then 5 ** total a week

if not if require more for the “therapeutic” effect

I guess that CWS prediction was good after all. It seems the last year of posting has a lot of my plays going against my forecast and the bets losing. The forecast prevails.

Tonight it has Milwaukee winning with about 3.5 points to the Cub's 2 points.

End of the day game, after paying out yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if Milwaukee fails here. In fact it could both be about the Brewer failure and the Cubs succeeding. That usually means a blowout.

I think the market is "selling" the Brewers to certain extent.

I picked up some Cubs, one last fade of the forecast.

I think if it's the Cubs it stays Under and if it's Milwaukee it goes Over, but that Total is tough to call because of that super high line.

There's just enough conflicting info here to keep me out of the Total but Cubs 3x in the contest is a play for me...

I say this as if there were no other games played or other forecast created for those games. It's general statement on how the forecast did for the whole day and even more so for higher profile or higher volume games.

So in the end, the forecast, like a slot machine lining up (in a sense), had a good day and had it on good lines yesterday. In general, I wouldn't expect the swing game tonight to bode well for that same handicapping method.

We'll see.

lester's velocity is down. i have pitch by pitch data, maybe an idea is to come up with a query to detect when a starter's recent velocity is below career average. maybe pitches aren't breaking as much or spinning as much. other indicators or metrics that the pitcher doesn't have his "best stuff" lately. even if it is just an alert or a stat when compiling pregame preview data to will look over, might provide some value. sitting on gigs of data from mlb.com, maybe use it to provide a little extra context to a situation.

Shit, didn't write about this while posting but Detroit was trailing the White Sox by 2 runs when I posted and made my play.

Now it's in extra innings and Detroit is going to win.

I may have been fukked with the Cubs play. I was reading the market and was misled. In talking with some others at the time, we discussed the possibility of the Detroit comeback.
