Round 1 not quite over and a guy like Berger or Hadley could take the lead.

Currently though, Fowler is in the lead and Rahm is quietly in second. If it stays this way, Fowler being tied for the first round lead, and not the outright leader, keeps him much more eligible to be the tournament winner but it's still less likely.

I won't have to hedge with Fowler, because his price will be shitty for the lengthened reality. If the leader after round one is 5 Under and not 6, then Look for Fowler to slip tomorrow or Saturday. If so, it confirms that he's less likely to win for some groups and they could be disappointed.

In my situation, the price makes a decent insurance buy as I am holding multiple positions of Rahm.

I screwed myself by missing the Fowler bet pre tourney. It was a mistake and it looks as though I have to pay for it.

So true for sports betting as well.

Of course it all depends on how round one finishes but I'm posting this now anyway. As the current leaderboard is not a surprising development for this weekend.

Bill Haas is the first round leader putting Fowler tied for second. The chances of Fowler winning just went up and I'm forced to pick him up now.

I said I would kjick myself for missing the Fowler and Mickelson bets pre game, now I'm paying the price.

I already posted John Rahm at +950 and +930 (I have some a 10-1 but that's in Nevada).

I added Rickie Fowler at +530 to win the Phoenix Open.

You can still get Rahm at +600 so taking the two of them now is shorter on odds but not a bad strategy.

Given the last few weeks I'm due to miscalculate the tourney but the current leaderboard, with Fowler and Rahm being odds on favorites after round 1 shows I'm still on the scent.

You guys paying attention to my golf posts? I mention very few golfers.

All you have to do is go back the last couple of years and read my golf analysis on Superbowl weekend and Superbowl Sunday.

It's the same thing every year because they do the same thing every year.

There's little more I can say to best illustrate just what it is people are watching. I've yet to see a poster at SBR that understands what it is he's seeing when he watches a major sporting event...not one poster. Then again, if he did, he shouldn't post it. So it's not a knock on posters, it's just statement of fact about what I've seen.
