Not too much. Just a slice or two grinded with your seasoning mix will give it a nice sweet taste and will caramelize the other season something nice. Very nice!!!

Candied ginger is sweet. Great for sweet and sour pork/chicken/sauces. Use hot sauce with it to bring out the sweetness.

Yup. As a child growing up in Da Bronx I used to sped weekend with grandma (the mid/late 70's) I used to ask for candy. G Ma pulled out this glass container of candied ginger and give me a slice. I didn't know if she made it herself but it was a great sweet till I sucked all the sugar out of ot and chew the fiber. Maybe my pallet is used to it but I loved and still love CANDIED GINGER!!!
