Not so much research in MLB, but I understand, the mechanisms at play. I'm sure you have some very interesting data...all markets very similar.

The key is the context of that data. It's valuable for sure but I am going to venture that it's much more valuable if you created the data yourself, as opposed to stats from someone else.

Very interesting for sure either way though. Also, compiled with certain other data, you may be able to learn a lot from it.

If it's good, valid data, then you may even get a meaningful edge over the live markets. The vigorish is high, but using that info the right way could be incredible.

Truthfully, it may not matter that the books have this info; it’s what the bettors have and decide with that counts. I can tell you this, with the vig and limits as it is, many sharps aren’t in those markets. Your average competition could be emotion driven fans. I’m sure there are soft lines and you may have uncovered some already.
