A dimension where our thoughts have not been slowly crafted on the topic of marijuana
Lets pretend the world has never heard of this substance and its the present year,2015
Then, out of the blue people stumble upon this never seen before plant on some uninhibited vegetative island
All we know of is that it is everywhere, coming out of the ground and has a pungent odor

Fast forward weeks later, there are a barrage of tests done on this "new species".
When its not only deemed safe to consume or use for topical problems relating to the skin
but Medical Science also determines that this new plant safely cures over 100 ailments
along with not only slowing cancer cells down, but in some cancers making tumors shrink completely.
Everyone but Pharmaceutical Corporations would label marijuana one of the greatest finds in the history of mankind!!
And this is not even including the over 900 uses that hemp can be used for

The drug companies would never allow it to happen. I can't believe how stupid we have become in America. I watched this show the other day about cops in Humboldt raiding farmers like they were some kind of monsters.

I have seen war up close, and these guys were drawing weapons and running through the woods like they were in the military and I could tell not a SINGLE one of those guys had ever shot or hurt anyone in their entire lives. They were chasing FARMERS for god's sake

I was so disgusted at what we show to folks on tv these days.

We all know what I think about the debate and what side I'm on there, but know Ra77er that some officers have raided "farmers" only to find expendable cartel members with AK47's.

You were in the military, you know that failing to prepare is preparing to fail. When the game is big out here, it can be dangerous. That show of force is both for safety and to remind the cartels that this isn't Mexico.

I understand what you are saying KVB. I wish I could remember the name of the actual show I saw but these guys already knew it wasn't anything cartel related. Instead they made it look like an awkward Bad Boys movie staring 2 white guys that thought they were serving God's true will or something. You could see it on their faces and body language that they weren't scared in the least.

I found it hilarious and horrifying at the same time because as a kid I was probably cheering them on like some kind of real life heroes. I'm sure they don't film the serious busts but the one I saw was a bunch of idiots that would have no idea what to do in an actual gunfight and I'm sure they already knew that the "bust" was old macdonald and some middle age hispanic guy with his wife and daughter.

I am all for serving justice and keeping murderers/rapist criminals off the streets but this episode I saw was embarrassing. Perhaps I should've watched other episodes.


Just as an aside, I personally do not care if someone hates maryjane but to portray it like it is on tv at times... MAKES ME ANGRY.
