1. Does Antigua not have extradition treaty with US? Surprised they could hide out there so easily in the open.

2. How does a company like his fail? Were they putting out bogus lines? Gambling is the one industry that if you have enough volume that you should never fail because the odds are stacked for the company.

3. What is stopping me from starting a business where: I move to Las Vegas. Customers send me money to make bets for them at legal books. I take a small percentage for placing the bet and return their winnings to them if they win.

1. Funny laws there. There is a treaty but it went into effect in 1999, after Cohen returned to fight charges and lose. From 1999 to 2013 they must not have wanted him that bad, or the treaty wasn't really being enforced. I haven't read it, but I'm guessing the treaty doesn't apply to all crimes. Some treaties stipulate that the crime has to warrant at least 2 years of jail time for extradition, Cohen got 17 months, so maybe not enough punishment for extradition. After all, the Feds were still trying figure out the laws regarding internet wagering.

2. Between a crackdown on money and money movement and other sites coming online that avoided the crackdown initially or fell through the cracks altogether, WSEX lost a lot of business. They got hit, probably from live trading, and simply didn't have the volume to stay in the game. The strategy is to pay players with incoming new deposits and hope they catch up. The problem, the Feds focused on WSEX and new incoming funds dried up. WSEX was a very sharp book; bogus lines were not usually on their boards.

3. It is illegal in the state of Nevada to place a bet for someone else and get paid to do it. This is rarely enforced, especially a few hundred bucks between friends. However, the problem comes when you start making bigger bets and are required to fill out a Customer Transaction Report, called a CTR. Believe it or not, when you place a bet in a Vegas sportsbook, you are required to inform the book if you are placing it for someone else. Of course, no one admits this, but falsifying a CTR is a felony as you are lying to the IRS.

If your little betting business grows, you bet your ass they’ll come after you for falsifying records. The only around it is to admit you are breaking the law.

And yes, this is done all the time. Many get away with it and some get prosecuted.

I hear ya on the ps4. Yeah the projector I'm gonna use for flicks and big games and for the wii as well. Got a nice size wall in the living room to get up to 100 inches.
