There have been demonstrations in Paris and today at Roland Garros against France recently legalizing gay marriage. Martina weighs in:
I agree with Martina and think it's time an even larger group of the population is treated equally and with more respect...left handed people
Early on and for the rest of their lives left handed people are forced to live in a world specifically built for right handed people and conform to these rules. Left handers are made to feel very uncomfortable about themselves and experience unfair extra hardships throughout life that they just have to accept because they're different. It would not affect other people if everything were made left hand friendly such as the option to insert metro cards in a left side bank with the turnstyle to the right. Many times left handed people attempt to insert their metro card with the right hand, subsequently missing the slot and walking straight into an unyielding metal bar, possibly sterilizing them. Genocide
. This type of hate should not be allowed in this day and age.
Yes people used to be punished and even killed for being left handed and we have come a long way since then, but we need to make the final step.
