Do cops give other cops tickets?

Say some cop is on vacation and gets stopped. Does he get a free pass when he shows id?

What professions get this free pass for medium to mild stuff like speeding, rolling stop, no turn signal, etc.? Hot chicks is a given (yes that is a profession they make a living at it)

I have a new jersey cop older cousin who had provided relatives some sort of card in case you got pull over in traffic in the states. Obviously, his dad abuse it and always get away from speeding tickets, basically they watch others assess and have some sort of brotherhood among st them.

my buddys dad was a Fire Chief and he said he was never issues a ticket when pulled over.

couple blocks from me a number of years ago, 4 cops shot another cop 28 times for a traffic stop... somehow he lived.
