Here's what I disagree with.
Your blanket acceptance of Chomsky's motivations.
He is a very wealthy man, who earned his money-- actually almost all of is personal fortune from the very things he rails against.
Gauchojake makes a great point. Chomsky is the pro-life abortion doctor. He loves his lifestyle, so he isn't about to take a real principled stand against abortion, but he'll make a pretty speech or two.
Chomsky is a playa, and I don't fault him for that. But I also don't buy into him being an altruistic patriot trying to change the world.
Haven't we seen this before?
The fundamentalist chrisitan preacher (Jim and Tammy Faye Baker, Jimmy Swaggert)---- they make great speeches about giving, and doing god's work--- while their actions are that of hiring hookers, wife swapping, and outright theft.
There is no difference between Chomsky and Swaggert. Both played the game well, but neither did anything of substance to change anything.
