In fact, if less people stuck their head in the sand every time something tragic happened, we might actually be able to learn something and improve our society, at all levels...People who debate and use tragic events to improve society, are paying the victims respect, that's my opinion anyway...

I live about 30 minutes south of Boston and this shit really hits hard. I don't know if its the proximity, or if its because of how many times I have been in that exact area that the bomb was set off.... Just a sad feeling.

Have a cousin that was there as a volunteer. Have not spoke with her, but found out she was ok. Just in the state of shock of what she saw and heard. I was happy that she was ok, and so sad for the kids and adults deceased and injured
