Need Help - What is the best/easiest way.......

.....to splice together bits of videos on iPhone5? I have several vids that I would like to simply take small segments from and splice these clips together into one short video. I know this can be done, but I have NO idea how.

Please keep in mind that I am very old, and quite ignorant when it comes to technology.
