A little more specifically its produced by mammary glands found in breast(any mammal really). Men have this gland as well and I think they can actually lactate if they were given the correct hormones that trigger the lactic process (maybe something to try Seaweed?)

Its secreted from the breast, more specifically the nipple for consumption by children or adults (if your into that kind of thing)
