ok so bear with me... we have scientist and developers that can come up with anything now... touch screen phones where a device knows what you want it to do by touching the screen. we can send a spaceship to space with people in it... but Never not once in the world has an atom ever been created...

all matter in the world is made up of atoms... everything has atoms in it... so you mean to tell me that we can send people to space but can create a simple atom that makes up everyhting in the world?

so my question is where did the first atom come from? someone had to create it... right? so who created it? you cant answer that

Did this thought process come about due to the "god particle"? (There are many a theory on where the first atom came from. Theory, because it's science - and they can never proclaim something like that anything more than a theory, as it is impossible to prove thus not fact).

Also, I have faith that there is no god. Same conceptual faith that you have there is a god.

I was raised catholic, have a catholic pendant around my neck (maybe when I die, people will presume I'm catholic?), but I have never freely practiced or believed as does this church or any other church.

You see, I find immense comfort in the idea that this life that I currently have is it. I am not living to get into some magical place, nor am I living to avoid some terrible place. I am not living so my next life is better... you get the point - you got one life. That is it. One consciousness. Anything before or after doesn't matter, and as far as I am concerned doesn't exist.

So, you see - I have faith, a very strong faith, that there is no god. It's fantastic.

You need to learn more about darwin before you preach. He was born a christian, but he fought it every day of his life, and somewhere in his studies he turned away from God. He and his wife did not get along because of his loss in faith. Darwin did not die a christian. He was not a christian for most of his life. Evolution is the opposite of religion, and darwin most definitely believed humans evolved from monkeys.
