It isn't considered any differently than taking a dodgy $50 voucher into the same store. (Fine print aside, but I would think it is limited to actual teachers, police or military personnel). That being said, the chances of being prosecuted for this are slim to none.

Try this. Call the manager and tell him you don't qualify for the 5% discount you found online as you're not a teacher, police officer or in the military. However you really want to buy the furniture and the only way this will happen is if they extend the same 5% discount to you. If not, you're going to go elsewhere.

And see what he says. 110% he's giving you the fukking discount.
