lange was howard sterns third mike when jackie martling left in 2000 stopped listening to stern about that time i know he got fired for drugs and then tried to kill himself albiet half ass comic bill burr said lange is the only comic who falls up with work now he host a late night radio show all by himself it was him and nic dipalo another comic but something happend nic was fired and now its just the artie lange show too bad because i loved watching the show when it was them together now the show is unwatchable now with just him he broadcasts from the same studio as dan patrick

Having met and dealt with Artie I can say he is a very nice guy but obviously troubled. Fame doesn't suit his mental makeup. The Stern show was a blessing and a curse for him. Love him or hate him, Howard is one of the most influential celebs of the modern era. When he did a week at Hard Rock their numbers were higher than NY and SB combined.
