I think all of them at one point or another were #1 in the USA.

Photoshop is fun like that, isn't it? She is so insanely overrated it's fukked. First thing I noticed about her was the size of her arms. I'm sorry, but if you're going to be a hot chic on television you can't have the arms of a retired arm wrestling champion.

the nerdy girlfriends are about the time the show went downhill
if they stuck with intelligent humor, instead of recycled relationship humor, show would still be fine

Big Bang Theory was the first sitcom I've really gotten into as an adult, a show whose characters and dialogue seemed to genuinely target my demographic. It was joined in the past few months by Ryan Murphy's (Nip/Tuck, Glee, American Horror Story creator) new sitcom The New Normal which also does a great job of touching on elements of life that I can relate to and find humour in.

It's a good thing for the rest of you detractors that Keyboarding joined your ranks; I was just about to whip up a paragraph calling you all Neanderthals who dislike it simply because the humour is too intelligent for you to grasp.

Nerds and gays will rule the world soon. You've been served.

You might kill me for this, but the funniest man in the game right now is Craig Ferguson, but his brand of comedy isn't for everybody, he doesn't take himself seriously at all, his impersonations are spot on, and he's one of the best ad-libbers alive.

Well, there was this milk drinking contest, one gallon and keep it down.
I called Steve C. (producer at the time) and told him I can do it. He invited me on the show.
Originally it was just going to me and the gallon, but it got changed to being a solo to a six man contest, whoever can drink the gallon of milk the fastest, and keep it down for 1 hour, wins. (cash, concert tickets, shit like that)
Long story short, I drank a gallon of milk in 3 minutes, 46 seconds, and kept it down. Anthony Cumia was shocked.
Anyway, we have an hour to kill (stipulation I keep it down) and I am killing it so to speak, I have Greg and Anthony in stitches, they get to know me a little better and learn I have done parody (lampoon writing) in the past.
Yadda, yadda, yadda, I am freelancing for the O and A show. They paid me a little, didn't care about that, it was just fun.
I couldn't do it on a regular basis, because I have a real job.
Today, I still contribute to the show on Sirius, not regular though.
I don't know if your remember the Charleston Heston NRA theme restaurant bit, I wrote most of that one.

Norton is a very bright man in real life, but has deep issues. Greg (Opie) has a brilliant business mind, but is lost without Anthony.
Patrice was a god.

I am a super nerd, and this show sucks hard. It does nerd culture completely wrong (Community seems to be decent in this regard).

The worst thing about this show is that the people who like it often annoying assume that other people don't like it because they aren't smart enough to get the jokes or aren't nerdy enough to, rather than realizing that we do comprehend the humor and style of the show, but happened to recognize that it really sucks.
