Leaving USA with 10,000$ Problem?

Saw a similiar thread in another forum and wanted to ask. I heard about you have to fill a form and declare that you're leaving USA with more then 10,000$. This is easy or lots of hassle? I think they will ask for the source of money, if you won the money at sportsbook/casino, you just say I won at casino or you must prove? If yes, how?

10k limit is per person or family overall?

per person, it's standard check for money laundering and they irs will check to see if u are payign ur tax and etc

yes they will search. if youre going to a casino wire the money down much easier that way
