So I go out of the country for a week...parked one of my cars on the street right outside of my house - I do this all the time. Anyhow last night when I came back I found this on my windshield. There is no parking restrictions on our street...no garbage day... no hourly bullshit..none of that.
Can they really fukk with me like that?

It must be some city cop running the same route in his patrol car and noticed your car hasn't moved.... but seriously... how did they know if or when you moved it? You might be working a shift... and just park the car ever time on that cops shift... and it looks like you didn't move it? It's just really weird to me. Must have a damn camera on you 24/7?

Sorry Rocket, but this is standard. I once got a ticket for being in a snow removal zone when it was 50 degrees and hadn't snowed in weeks. It's all a hustle to get the city it's $. It's impossible to park on any U.S. University or the street of a major city. Everything is meant to be moving at all times. As far as the people complaining about the towing "scam." Once you leave the establishment of the lot you are parked in, you're no longer considered a patron. Find a parking garage, it will save you headaches and $.
