But the finest beer in Mexico is "Pacifico cuartito", which is brewed at Mazatlan.

The best of all the mexican beers hands down is BOHEMIA.

Negra Modelo is a close second.

Not a big fan of Mexican beer. A couple of guys I worked always sung the praises of Negro Modelo. It was decent, but not as good as I was hoping for.

Corona by far the best mexican beer out there

Mexico has 2 breweries, getting over 95% of market share. Both were recently sold to mega corporations.

-Modelo (over 50% MS) from Mexico City. Produces Corona, Modelo Especial, Negra Modelo, Pacifico, Victoria and a few smaller brands. Bought recently by InBev, the belgian conglomerate owner of Budweiser-Busch.

-Cuauhtemoc-Moctezuma (45% MS) from Monterrey. Producers of Tecate, XX, Bohemia, Sol, Indio, Carta Blanca, etc. Bought a few years ago by Heineken.

Mexican beer is now into globalization mode. It is rather bland, cheap and mass marketed. There are a few microbreweries, but hard to find.

tried teacate not really for me i like budlight with lime better then corona for me i like those beers better in the summer when its warm in the frigid tundra i get guiness for the winter warms me up more next week its vegas where i love the microbrew at ellis island best beer in vegas also love the nuttybrunette from a chain called bjs brewery there all over the southwest
