Surgery is necessary (at least open heart surgery, in her case, was necessary, because she had a tightened valve). In most cases, however, where the arteries are clogged or when cholesterol is high, it can be avoided. Prescribed medicine, however, in almost all cases, are not necessary. Yes, I know, the surgery was a success, and that's great! However, the fact that you seem to imply that I am not grateful that the surgery was done and seem to wish death upon me is quite comical. However, it does not disprove or prove the theory that painkillers and most prescribed "medication" is not only unnecessary, but causes us to get sick in the first place and weakens our immune system, so we return to the doctor for more drugs, which will....well I hope you get the idea by now....

And, you never answered my question. You maintained, and I quickly proved wrong that surgery isn't medicine.
In your rambling response, you created a fantasy whereby I suggested you weren't grateful for your mom's surgery (where did I say that?), then you went to painkillers being the most prescribed medication (I never mentioned painkillers), and the rest of your response is getting crazier.
How about this idea.
It's a simple challenge.
I can use published clinical trials demonstrating the efficacy for anthracyclines for patients with breast cancer.

What does breast cancer have to do with what we were talking about? And you accuse me of changing the subject? I'll tell you what it does have to do with. A lack of exercise, alcohol, lack of proper nutrition, and stress, just like all cancer....or you can just continue to be a pessimist and believe that the world is rainbows and marshmallows, there are no scams trying to take your money, etc....Good luck with negativity. It hasn't worked for anyone and it will shorten your life and those around you will not want to be around you. But hey, you would be the 1 out of 7 billion. Anything's possible.
The sad thing is that you continue to suggest that I am ONLY suggesting right brain strategies (nutrition, meditation, exercise). Actually, no! You can't just "hope" for a partner in life, a career of your dreams, etc...but those are just as important. If you only use your left brain, it will only get you half way....Comment -

#80The world would be too easy without people like you, and that's why there will always be those who are so unwilling to try anything new that they reject/insult anything that they haven't heard of yet. You didn't prove anything. Saying surgery is medicine is like saying touchdowns are football. I didn't create a fantasy. I pointed out that your tone implied that I was trying to steal your money and kill your son by giving you alternate medical advice, which is far from the truth. Calling me crazy isn't gonna win you any arguments. Everyone here who has asked for my advice has have no negative energy except you. However, I think I know why. You are still offended because you feel that I insulted you or your child when I suggested that western medicine is (in large part) corrupted.

Okay, let's start with your theory on how cancer develops.
You said, and I am quoting here..." A lack of exercise, alcohol, lack of proper nutrition, and stress,"-----
If the cause of cancer is lack of exercise, alcohol, and proper nutrition, are you suggesting those rules apply to a child who develops (as an example), an osteosarcoma?
I am not viewing you with negative energy. I'm challenging you and you're losing.
What is it you think you've brought to this forum?
Eat more veggies drink less booze? Peace, light?
Is that really groundbreaking advice?
Thankfully, you don't have much of an audience here, and the audience you do have is filled with a bunch of gamblers. That being said, you're dangerous. Why? Because you're the type of guy who read a few articles on the internet and has convinced himself that he is now educated. That he can go forth and save the world. There's a dangerous element to that, but as I said, thankfully-- you have no audience for this type of salvation here.

However, my major was kinesiology (exercise, nutrition, and fitness), and I learned many tips from my professor, who was the head athletic trainer for Nebraska football and the KC Chiefs for quite some time. I also took many of the same challenging classes that these incredible genius doctors take, like Human Anatomy, Exercise Physiology, etc...
To your other point, Some babies are born with cancer because their parents have not taken care of themselves. Cancer was created by humans...it's not just some unfortunate epidemic...it's a planned one...They have birth defects because of generations of low quality nutrition, exercise, and yes, STRESS! Physical, mental, emotional, etc....
As I said, I haven't tried to sell anyone anything...and I've given several different ideas that I learned from my Athletic Training professor in college, my exercise physiology professor, and have used my own research ....these things all worked for me personally, so if I give someone a tip, and someone like you calls me an ahole, I find it comical...the only person who loses is you because it, for some reason, hurts your feelings....I sent links to articles to help them. Did I profit from that? LOL you're a funny guy with a lot of anger. I suggest a bit more love and light, exercise, veggies, stretching, and a positive attitude.
And by the way, this isn't about "winning" and "losing" an argument. I'm trying to help people out, and now I have to explain myself with all this BS because you, some douche, is accusing me of selling something. How stupid do you think I am, anyways? There are GAMBLERS HERE! I couldn't get someone to throw me an sbr point if my life depended on it, much less sell them whatever it is that you think I'm selling them....that's the funny thing, you don't even know what you are accusing me of selling them...

With all due respect to your question, I don't remember learning very much about varying morphologies, and I made this thread to help people with real problems, not answer your questions to prove a point. I was expecting the EXACT reaction that I have received. I received several serious questions, I helped them, they thanked me, I made a few connections with other individuals, received a few kind private messages, and I expected much negative comments from skeptics like you who think I'm trying to "scam" people. Ironically, I'm trying to save people from getting scammed.

#86And dizziness gone, just a nagging discomfort in the ear, no headache, it feels like my ear canal is wider than usual (its not, but it feels like I could put my thumb straight thru to my brain). Occasionally I'll get a crackling/swooshing sound in there like there is water in it. But normally I know when I get water in my ears and this is different (I think).
Thanks for the help.
I used to hate flying because it felt like my ear drums were going to burst. I was at an airport once, having got OFF the plane about 20 minutes ago, and I got that crackling swooshing sound you describe as my ears released pressure. After that it usually feels like my ear drums are rippled or stretched, but goes back to normal in a few days.
I'm aware of a preventative measure, someone I was sitting next to on a plane taught it to me. Perhaps you already know this, but judging by your symptoms you don't. When you feel pressure build in your ears, you shut your mouth, press your nostrils shut between thumb and forefinger, and then blow - as if blowing your nose. By adding pressure to your mouth cavity, it forces your eustachian tubes to open and allows pressure to exit from your ears. You literally won't experience any pain if you do this a few times.Comment -

#87i got another question, what foods should i eat to lower blood sugar. i'm fat obviously and i am worried about diabetes on account of my grandparents having it. i try to eat vegitables, but then i read like bread and corn and carrots, peas all raise blood sugar i'm so confused by this because my doctor has said all those things are fine.
Licorice does reduce blood sugar, real licorice, not the anise-flavoured candy. People think that maybe buckwheat regulates blood sugar, since people who eat buckwheat tend to have lower blood sugar. But this may be because buckwheat is technically a seed of some herb, not a grain - and is not as bad as wheat.
Definitely bread is no good. As an introduction you might want to read the chapter 'From Leaves to Seeds' in In Defense of Food. The majority of diabetes is actually now happening in the 3rd world, where people have less processed diets, this is because they mainly eat starchy foods like rice due to lack of income. Root vegetables like potatoes aren't so bad, rice and bread are no good because they break down to glucose. If you are going to eat grains whole grain is better since it breaks down slower.
There is no natural plant like wheat, natural grasses tend to have biological defences to make them inedible. People have managed to make wheat edible, but it retains toxic defences (gluten). Even people who are not gluten intolerant, they tend to produce chemicals in their gut to protect them from gluten. Rice contains defences (phylates) but these are pretty much destroyed by cooking, gluten isn't. The paleo diet freaks think that the phylates in nightshade plants like beans, tomatoes, chiles will kill you. But a lot of those foods (like beans) are processed in ways that destroy the phylates, and also some phylates can be good for you.
Also, especially carbohydrates from grains, you don't absorb about 15% of what you consume. So you don't need much of it. I know this because I got sick from eating wheat. When I had no money I spent a year eating pasta, homemade tomatoe sauce and cheese, because all those things were cheap. But then I got chronic heartburn, which is caused by overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine, because the bacteria feed on the undigested carbs.
There's actually a diet now that can reverse Type 2 diabetes. I haven't read the whole article but I think this is it: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21656330 It involves drastic reduction of calorie intake along with nutritional supplements. The people eat extremely small amounts of vegetables, so little food they are basically suffering, and take nutritional supplements to get necessary minerals and such. This allows the body to remove fat from the liver and pancreas, and then you can actually reverse the condition. Type 2 diabetes was previously thought incurable.
People think of foods with a high glycemic index as bad for diabetes, but actually too much fructose is worse. Glucose can be metabolised by every cell in the body, but fructose can only be metabolised in the liver. They gave fructose and glucose to mice, and the mice given fructose developed fatty deposits in their liver and Type 2 diabetes, and got obese.
Therefore, to reduce risk of diabetes you have to think unconventionally, i.e. not just reducing glucose consumption, but improving liver health. White tea is the least processed, followed by green and oolong. But actually the tea with the kind of antioxidants that most reduces liver fat is pu-ehr. It's a brick tea that's fermented a lot, made from mature leaves.
The problem is due to the maturity of the leaves pu-ehr is very high in fluoride. In China, people who drink a lot of brick tea tend to develop fluorosis (discoloring and splotchy marks on teeth). The solution then is to drink moderate amounts, while cutting fluoridated toothpaste etc, or drink it short term and then switch to white/green/oolong. Japanese green teas like sensha and macha contain less fluoride, because the soils are different there.
People were talking about fluoride before. Currently where I live they have just switched to fluoridated water. When I walk around in the city there's always people with signs and flyers campaigning against fluoride and trying to get you to sign a petition. I have never talked to them, and have never looked into the pros/against of fluoride.
Some things are not toxic in large doses, but are toxic in trace amounts. Other things are needed by the body in trace amounts, but are toxic in large doses. I don't really care about fluoride in the water personally, because I drink a fair amount of Chinese tea. I use Jasmine Green tea mixed with lychee syrup, since I lost the taste for soft drink and too sweet things a while ago. When I had no money I stopped drinking soft drink because I couldn't afford it, and now I don't like it anymore.
But I was at the dentist once, and I told her that I born in area which had fluoridated water, and left there when I was 3 years old. She said to the assistant, see, it even has an effect for that short a time (meaning my teeth were good despite problems with hygiene).
Edit: I forgot to mention, fluoride is more harmful without adequate iodine in your diet. With enough iodine, you can consume larger amounts.Comment -

The other thing you can do is paint outdoors. I knew a painter in his 70s, and the doctor said he had never examined someone whose eye muscles were so well developed at that age. The reason is painting outdoors he was constantly switching vision between the canvas and long distance. If you don't want to paint just switch focus between near and far, instead of looking at one thing.Comment -

#103Thanks for responding to my thread. I'd suggest several things. However, are you still feeling dizzy? Where is the pain? On the exterior of your head or does it feel like a headache?
Drink lots of water, eat some fruits and vegetables just to clean our your system...just an orange, blackberries, or rasberries, pomegranates, cranberries, as far as veggies, some spinach (instead of lettuce for salad). Also, green peppers, tomatoes or cucumbers in your salad will clean your system and you'll crap a lot of waste.
You don't even have to substitute a meal with a salad, just eat the salad before or after your meal to "wash down" the rest of the food you ate.
Anyways, for golf I would recommend several things:
STRETCH: Everyone should stretch, but especially for golf. Take your time, wait for your muscles to slowly warm up and relax. Stretch your hamstrings, quads, gluts, calfs, groin, and all the major muscles in your arms and core. BEFORE AND AFTER FOR MAXIMUM IMPROVEMENT. I'd REALLY recommend a foam roller. Those things work like magic IF YOU USE IT correctly. Also, I recommend "searching" your body for physical weakness or tightness. If your forearm, bicep, core, tricep, or hamstring is weak, it will affect your technique/form and you won't hit as accurately as you would like. Use these tips, think positive thoughts, and I FREAKING guarantee you'll improve.
When I say stretch, I mean dynamic and static. Stand on one foot with your knee at 90 degrees and move your knee counterclockwise and clockwise to warm them up. Be creative. Your body is whatever you want it to be and you can heal it naturally in almost all cases. I hope this helped and I hope things work out for you.
