When I was a kid, one of the traditions my family had was that we always went to midnight Mass. Before we went, my mom would put a ham in the oven. When we got back from church, the ham would be done and I remember having the best ham and cheese sandwiches; just awesome. The kids were then allowed to open one present and it was about the only time we would stay up until 2 or 3 in the morning. Great memories.
