Gatti was a boxing legend. Not the best fighter. But tough as nails.

I'lll never forget when he got blown up in his last fight and announced his retirement in the post fight interview. It was the right time to go, almost a fight too late.

Yeah. I remember. Those fights with Mickey Ward are legendary. This is nuts. I don't know who to believe. Hard to think this little spanish broad could strangle him to death. But who knows??

Even though the Gatti-Ward fights were among the best I've ever seen, my favorite will still be Gatti-Rodriguez.
I remember a bunch of us in our dorm room watching it on HBO; we were going nuts.

She didn't. He was a mentally ill person after his career ended. His family wanted to have the money, so they told the story she did it.
Only person who was honest about it was his brother (boxer, too), who said he is absolutely sure that he killed himself because he knew of his problems.
