Fish has to eat in the winter --- Altho not as often
IMO , fish taste better in colder weather

I fish year round down here in Texas on the coast.
Redfish, speckled trout, and flounder are the usual targets for inshore.

i use to fish quite a bit in galveston many many years ago and when i lived in laredo i would go over to aransas pass and fish.. good fishing down there

Nice I know that area well. I live pretty much directly South of Houston in the Freeport area...usually fish, Galveston, Matagorda, all around really lol.
