You can get decent ones for around 400-500 now with nice screen, HDMI, nice cpu, nice memory.

You can get cheap ones strictly for internet for 250.

I wouldn't get a laptop if it didn't have HDMI now.

Most people can afford TV's that you can watch HD movies on...Get a job and maybe you'd be one of those guys.

wait for the next gen intel chip (haswell) before buying a laptop. chip is going to dramatically improve battery life while being much faster and delivering twice the graphics than current ivy bridge.

Depends what you want out of a computer. If you want to make videos, watch high def movies, run things at same time probably going to need a newer one. If you just want to make bets on internet and don't want all the hard disk space and processing speed you can get used lap tops at the pawn store for a $100.

Wow i bought that same one 4 years ago for 800. Fyi didn't last 2 years so bit the bullet and paid 1800.00 for a hp that folds and is a touch screen hd very nice but would never spend 1800 on a laptop again.

i got a used but still under warranty dell 14xps ultrabook on ebay for 600 a few months back and love it....its small like a mac but isnt a fukkin mac

probably can be had cheaper now that all these windows 8 computers are coming out....windows 8 is a joke by the way
