    need some help..One computer has the common FBI ******** MALWARE virus..remove??
    Help

    Need some easy to follow good advise

    I guess the virus, malware not sure what to call it is popular now..cause if you google or youtube it there is thousands of things to see or read..problem is most of them seem to be more scams to download yet more crap and not really fix!

    so if you know this FBI ******** that takes ove ryour PC as soon as you connec tot internet..

    i can not restore to earlier dates..so dont suggest that..i dont have any earlier date choices for some reason.

    help a guy out..

    mods please leave this here for a bit! pleaze dont move it until tomorow..need some Sharp help

        i downloaded malwarebyte for free.... quick download..did that insafe mode..

        did the Quick scan feature

        it actually found 6 things..I sent them to Quarentine and removed them..
        (did not think to write down the 6 things but two said Trojans, and a couple were PUPsomething or another)
        syststem had to reboot

        came back now with no problems!

        Do you think that is all or enough or should I do more sweeping (complete scan) or something else?

                    I had this same virus.

                    Malware detects it, it's gone

                    It gets picked up by a pop up in porn sites, or clicking a bad link, ect.

                    Not harmful
