The Men Who Built America-history channel
    Well done.
I think gamblers on SBR might have appreciation for this.
Interesting, and the History channel takes a liberal view to make it entertaining

Old dudes walking a round in slow motion to eventual pauses are a bit much, and too theatrical-
but the way its directed with its way to view American history is cinematicly compelling

    Impressive,
can't wait to see next Tuesday when they bring J.P. Morgan to rival John Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie, w Electricity from Thomas Edison
    Then after that, Henry Ford

    Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Absolutely awesome series.

      It's available on HistoryChannel.com.

The history of Cornelius Vanderbilt and Rockefeller was great tv. They conducted business like stone-cold killers.

My favorite nugget. In today's dollars, Vanderbilt would be worth 100 billion dollars. More than Gates and Buffet combined.

Very well done series. Couldn't believe the great production value. Excellent formula to entertain while still being informative. Definitely a thumbs up

          show keeps getting postponed
anybody know what the deal is?

great 1st 2 shows, then it keeps getting replaced w/ mini marathons of Axe Pickers or some crappy tradesman show

            This Sunday is the finale.

They didn't run it Tuesday because Tuesday was the Presidential Election.

little off topic but what happened to How Booze built America? thought that was a good show. Had an interesting fact about the pilgrims landing where they did instead of their original destination because they ran out of booze.
