Just applied to 13 different full time jobs with Caesar's Entertainment across the country. Anybody know what the hiring process is like or how difficult it is to get jobs you are reasonably qualified for? I have a bachelors degree in finance, as well as 1 year experience in the field plus customer service experience. Anybody think I get a nibble?
Wish me luck

It's not as cool of a job as you think. I would try to find something better with your degree and then just travel to Vegas a few times a year.
Maybe I misunderstood you. You're not wanting to be a cashier are you?Comment -

#14Why would want to be a cashier for Caesar's if you have a Finance degree? I'm pretty sure most of their cashier's are hourly and don't make much money.

It was a real pain in the ass finding a quality job out of college but I'm really thankful I have the job that I do. The pay and benefits are great.
You do have to be careful about the jobs you apply for. Casinos employee a ton of people and many of them are hourly employees that probably make around $10-12 an hour. At this stage in your life, you don't want an hourly gig.
You need to make sure you have a 401k, a few weeks of vacation, sick time, bonuses, and a good salary. You may also inquire about your work schedule as casinos are open 24/7. With that said, you are probably already aware of all this.
I work 8-5 Monday through Friday so it's great for me. It's also cool getting a quarterly bonus and flying to Vegas for a weekend every three months. Of course, I like to have fun.
It's hard to get interviews by sending out resumes. Employers receive hundreds and thousands of resumes so it's hard to stand out in a pile of paper. The job I applied for had over 100 applicants. If you can, try delivering your resume in person so they have a face to go along with the piece of paper.
Half the battle is getting an interview. GL.Comment -
