LOL Bill Cowher's "team"...this is not college football bro. All players and personnel decisions are made by the front office. Any coach who wins a SB is legit. The fact that he did it in such a short period of time and at such a young age makes him even more impressive in my eyes.

And use some common sense, if the Steeler front office did not think he was a good coach, they would have canned him. He's the head coach because he deserves to be the head coach of the Steelers, not because of some pity rule. NFL franchises do not wait very long to get rid of head coaches. Head coaches are a dime a dozen and most don't last past year 3, even decent ones. NFL is a result oriented league. If you've been HC of the Steelers for more than 5 years, you are legit.

Here is a real simple question: If Tomlin was fired tomorrow, how many teams wanting to make a change would hire him immediately? Answer: Nearly all of them.

Your racial stance is really ugly, by the way. There are some black coaches who got a chance because of the Rooney Rule, and weren't equipped to handle the job. Tomlin isn't one of them. And for every black head coach who was incapable of handling the job, I will see you a Wade Phillips, and raise you a Chan Gailey.
