If someone is walking behind you and you're opening a door, how close do they have to be behind you for you to hold the door open? I was walking into the Drug Store today and a guy was about 10 metres infront of me but he held the door open. It kind of put pressure on me to walk faster towards it so he doesn't wait long. Does this bother anyone else???

I've actually talked about this with people. It's when manners go too far and become an inconvenience. It's unavoidable though, you could raise your hand and say "go ahead, thank you" but by the time they acknowledge it you'll be at the door. It's just one of life's stupid occurrences, I suppose.
