Let's assume you can get either for $20,000 USD a piece
If you had to pick between those what would you pick

I grew out of fads or having to wear brand names, but I would never buy a Kia unless it was the only option to get around town.

They're not really comparable cars. Compare the mustang to a camaro, subaru brz or a genesis coup. Compare the Optima to an Altima, Accord, Fusion etc.

optima looks nice but wouldn't buy it cause it doesn't even come with a spare tire.
i'd get the 2013 accord instead.

Get a 4yo Audi A4. Kia's decent as a rental car - don't buy that shit.

If you're a man and drive a V6 Mustang you should kill yourself.
Buy the Kia out of the 2 choices...Unless somehow you're talking about a 20K mustang GT.

The new V6 Mustang is plenty of car. Has little in common with the previous versions. It's as powerful/fast as the 2005-2010 GT's and it sounds like a proper muscle car.
The previous V6 was a horrible POS.

Only V6 car worth a damn ever to be made was the Grand National. If I were getting a Mustang, I would not settle for a V6. I don't care how "quick" it is. When I'm buying a brand name care like Mustang/Camaro any of the newer modern muscle cars, I won't be getting a V6 version.

So what exactly are you buying a V8 for? Street cred?
Don't get me wrong, the 2013 GT's are great cars, I'm a hugh fan. But for 20k new you can't do better than the V6 pony.

No, I wouldn't be driving a Jeep if I wanted "street cred"
You buy a mustang for it's name. I just feel it's disrespectful to buy a revamped "muscle car" with a V6 and auto trans...But most 16 year olds parents buy them a mustang for "street cred" and they are always those v6's.
I'm a man, If I'm buying a Mustang, I'm buying it as a toy, there are no toys that are V6's...Besides the old Grand National.

Kia's for those people who are, well, you know.,,, confused sexually.
Kia Motors review from Chandler, Arizona with 27 Comments: 4 days ago I got my KIA Optima 2012. Yesterday a tire bow up on the freeway. They are blaming me for it.

A 4 year old Audi will become very expensive when it's in the shop. There is nothing cheap about repairing an Audi.
