They are a betting syndicate. They pool their knowledge and discuss bets that they think will win. They are just a bunch of guys on a gambling forum doing what they love to do. They might come off as a little raunchy at times and that is a turnoff for some people. If you asked this question because the word "syndicate" implies illegality, there is nothing illegal about the gambling syndicate on this forum. It's just a word someone said earlier in the thread and the name stuck. Any questions?
