How are we to feel optimistic about your chance at being right your new date of October? How successful are doomsday prophesies anyways? They are going along at a solid success rate of 0%.

Just going by memory, isn't there a verse in Revelations about telling the world wrong
information about the apocalypse?

Anyone could have their dooms day at any time. Those poor people in Japan, Haiti, tornado's,
car accidents, to falling in the tub, etc. We don't all have to go at the same time.

Concentrate on your life, now and leave the time of our demise to the higher ups.

Would you know how to solve the debt problem? Obama didn't put us in this mess. Presidents can only do so much. Even under Clinton nothing was amazing it was just fine. Basically, he didn't mess worsen the problem.
