I read the first book of the trilogy. I heard teenage girls are reading this. I guess every woman fantasizes about being a sex slave to a hot, rich guy.
Have any of you guys read "50 Shades of Grey"?

#2You're a braver man than I
A friend brought it to playgroup and I flipped it open to a random page. The WORST writing I've ever seen published. It's Twilight fanfic and since I don't like Twilight, 50 Shades and I had no chance of a future together. There is some great erotica out there for women but that was horrid.
However a few of my mates are saying they're getting way more (or any) action in the bedroom since their women have read it so that's a big plus! But no, most of us don't fantasize about being in an emotionally abusive, S&M relationship regardless if the guy is a billionaire or not.Comment -

Well most females aren't gambling forum mods so that would explain the disjoint in you not reading like most females.Comment -

#8I'm embarrassed to admit that I have read the books. They were horribly written and they're just fantasy fodder for women that want to be in an emotionally and borderline physically abusive relationship.Comment -

#14I was on vacation and thought, "Hey, New York Times bestseller - it has to be good." Right?
Very wrong. Yes, butt plugs, gags, ben wa balls, simulated rape scene. Once I start something, I have to finish it. I gave the books away to try to erase that they ever existed in my life. My mom wanted to borrow them. "Aren't they bestsellers? I think I would like to read them."
No, mother.Comment -
