Not dangerous, but it's a dump.

You should rent an extended stay or a suite. Lots of money you'll save on food, free wifi, and taxes.

Hilton has a chain, forgot name and I'm on my phone, but if u google extended stay suites, you'll see a ton of them for Vegas. And how reasonable the monthly rates are. High end are rarely over a dime a month.

there's a couple places between downtown and the strat that are dumpy but not dangerous, probably run 350-500 a month depending on what you want.
