LA, California has some real crime gang banging surrounding cities... Compton, LBC are pretty damn bad and shots are fired daily.. Stockton and Oakland California are ruthless hell holes too.. I think it's hard to rate just how dangerous each major city is.. I guess you rate it by the number of homicides but still....

Chicago, New Orleans, Detroit and Cleveland are all pretty bad when you think about big name cities.. Los Angeles and New York as well.. I'm sure the Bronx in New York is still not a peaceful walk in the park these days either..

The Ghetto's in all these major cities are just ready to bust out and riot when given the opportunity...

Agreed, I live in one of the safest cities in Southern California and I can hop in my car and drive 25 minutes and enter a war zone..

New Orleans in the South is like that as well, French quarter is relatively safe, drive 5 minutes away into the projects and the bullets are flying..
