would be better if they just reduced the prizes by 10-20% so only the winners paid, but $15 isn't much to complain about for playing some poker and getting free drinks

most car rental companies rent to 21-24 year olds with a surcharge, and quite often they will waive that if you have a clean record

I know..but it didn't allow me to book it. Maybe I'll have more success in person when I'm down there.

i would call directly and ask to waive the surcharge, a lot of times it's $25/day which is ridiculous. once you're actually there in person they have less incentive to waive it

i got a car from dollar for around $100 for the 4 days (travelocity), so that surcharge would double the cost

No can do. Tourney starts at 2pm (usually starts late). Bash is supposed to commence at 6:30. It's already looking like well over 100 poker entrants. If they slow it down the tourney it's liable to run well past 6:30. If memory serves last year it ended after 6pm and that was with less than 100 entrants, I think. If they made it slow blind increases it could easily run from 2pm to 8pm.

We will push back the bash to allow the final table to finish if necessary. That's too much money to rush the last few who have already been playing for 5 hours.
