If it wasn't for all of their squabbling, I would've max bet them in the book and with whomever else put up lines. For a team comp, you need team dynamics, even if that means you fake the poops one day at work so you can play a time slot no one else can. I'm still cheering for them to win but I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of meltdown happen. All over SBR Poker

shari, I wouldn't think it would be such a big deal for people to play in this. Four person tournaments should take under an hour (I don't remember how long they took last year), and all you would need is a laptop at work. Take a lunch break at whatever time the team needs you to play (assuming you get lunch. I didn't at my last job) and just play then.

Well that's what I had thought. If anything the Euros and then definitely the World guys are at a disadvantage and should be yipping. 12pm to 9pm for an Aussie is 3am to noon for those on the East Coast here. Like seriously that's a bit messed up to try to coordinate but it seems like those guys are setting alarms and whatever. Regardless, it'll be fun to watch. Unfortunately because of the time frame I won't be able to watch too many of the tourneys but I'll do my best.

in terms of talent, based on qualifying (which of course is not a great measure, but it's what we have), you're right. But as you can see, I got action on everything but Canada. No one was looking to bet Canada after the team spent two days fighting about who got to play when.

poker isnt a team competition

there are no assists.

if everyone fills a slot (something america cant do), they have great value.

Poker is individual, but all the fighting affects whether they'll fill the spots correctly.
