Ive only played 7 tournament I am gonna get more volume and most likely be the man to beat for team Canada.

To bad there isn't an overall list to track everyone playing. I have cashed 8-11 of these but I didn't log my finishes early on so the exact number isn't clear.

One thing is clear though, just cashing won't be good enough for the US team, it'll take wins and runner-ups since it's based on points and not cashes.

Looks like this was the best week to date for Team USA players. I'm think I need tor evise my 10th place estimate up from 3300 to 3500 now.

World #1 wouldn't even be top 20 in USA.

Some more facts:

*8 of last week's top 20 USA players are no longer listed.
*6 of overall top 10 are from USA
*Only 4 of the "World" players would qualify for any other team

Would be interesting to know how many tourneys each player has participated in. Perhaps many of the "World" players only play once or twice a week knowing that it should be relatively easy to make the team.

Either way, it would appear that the US will be able to field a very strong team. That should be an advantage, right?

Even if you won 1st place in every tourney you would have minimal edge in this "team" format after.

Team World will have the same chance to win as Team USA.

You can have Ivey Dwan Brunson Seidel on one team against random droolers and there's a good chance they'd still lose.

Of course with winning you vote yes

But only M-F tournaments count for the this. It was discussed in one of the beginning threads, because they skewed last years results with huge tournament results.

If you remember last year's Ryder Cup tourney, the qualifying was a little messed up. The qualifying tourneys were held for 8 weeks, but the contest wasn't announced until after the 4th week and only 1st, 2nd and 3rd places got any points(500, 250, 100, respectively). The first 4 weeks were also part of the WSOP qualifying event.

It does have a list of some but not all. For instance while I don't remember the exact number of tournaments this month in which I cashed I do know for certain it is more than is listed in the Cashier.

I cashed in 3 weekend tournaments but I also have cashed in 8-11 of the Mon-Fri qualifiers as well and my cahsier only shows 8 total.

I'm tracking my own now but it's starting a little late.
