Any other donkeys out there up for a game on the .5/1 sanctuary table?
Need to roll over some points without the sharks taking the lot on me.

You should've appealed to Rudy... his rating makes him Sanctuary golden.

Funny you should mention Rudy.
Info from his hit n thread has made me a better player. Jumped from 1410 to near 1500 last 2 days and can't play in the donkey zone anymore.

Nice. Glad I played a part in spurring the discussion.
Btw, Op... don't confuse slowrolling with playing slowly... or, slowplaying.
Different things.

Slowrolling is when you have a Big hand and you don't reveal it in a timely fashion.
Dane spoke to the slowly playing.
Slowplaying is basically trying to trap your opponent with a big hand.

OIC... so 'slowrolling' is basically just being a bit of a jerk. Not really any advantage.
I used to 'slowplay' just about every big hand I got by that definition.
I've changed my style to what that poster described as a good players mindset. I play fast, don't minimum raise or limp into many hands, and bet confidently when I decide to play. Cashed in 3 of the last 4 tourneys and doubled each prize during rollover.
May have just had a lucky few days, but think simple change of mindset is really it.
