Just ran into Greg Raymer

Was leaving the poker room in Daytona and he was getting his name on the lists to play.

An old guy there was so excited to meet him he gave me his phone to take a picture of him with Raymer.

Weird to see someone like that in a small poker room.

LOL, I think Raymer has seen his 15 minutes of fame. Not knocking him but he had a pretty good run and now he is bad to a normal life.

I wonder how much $$ he ended up banking/keeping/investing for future.....

He didn't have close to 100% of himself when he won the wsop. He sold shares of his action on 2+2 and RGP which resulted in scores for a lot of forum posters. Still, I think he was fairly well off before the win, he can beat medium/high cash games, and was bankrolled by Stars for over 5 years. I seriously doubt he has money worries.

Got to sit at the same table with him last night , was pretty neat playing poker with a WSOP winner.

He played PLO for a couple of hours, super nice guy.

He never lost a hand he played............
