By now a top 10 finish might get you the important ticket. No need to finish first anymore, unless you can use extra 500 SBR points.
I finally placed third late last week to get my ticket the real way. I would not have minded the alternative way either. I think they mentioned 3 of the final 5 at the table already had their ticket, but for bragging rights and SBR points I was fortunate to have placed third.
