I caught recent episode of high stakes poker. Hate the dude who replaced Gabe, but I digress. During the entire episode he made it a point to say over and over in as many ways possible that the "butch" was a girl. It must have been drilled into him and little yellow stickies posted all around him to remind him.

It was hilarious. anybody else notice this?

Nothing abt liking her or not or even abt her extra curricular predilections, just that he had to make sure that everyone watching had a clue this was a girl. No doubt the producer told him to do it. The overkill was what made it funny.
