2900 player at the whole site, i really liked Cake ,just a shame whats going on there

They're on life support right now, I took my balance off of there this weekend. I'm not a sky is falling type of guy but there have been some things going on there the last month that has me not feeling confident of having a nickel there.

Victory poker just jumped from cake network to Cereus...thats pretty bad. Roxie try merge network..in specific rpm...they have some plo and plo8 ring traffic with regs from cake

I played on cake for like a week when I opened an account on Doyles Room but doyle jumped ship to Yatahay shortly after. I read something about two Cake Network exec's stepping down during that time.

Other than losing network affiliates, what else has been happening that would make one assume Cake is circling the drain?

cake network is slow paying...The cake site itself..not intertops, and the greek. Cake MTT guarantees are crap. Promos are worthless....I could go on...Merge network is now what cake used to be

twoplustwo has/had a massive thread where some of the more respected users were trying to ferret out the possibility of superusers on the network. One of the problems is that their hand history format does not lend itself to mass hand analysis. The site also had their encryption broken into like UB/AP did a while ago.

Slow pays as in payouts and no pays from the Cake gift shop also lent to the panic. Top two guys leave including L. Jones I am not comfortable with their decisions/directions statement when he left.

The cake network had ample opportunity to unseat the Cereus network for third in the USA market. They could not...sad to see considering all the superuser scandals at cereus.

NO they have been going downhill since last April 15th when a lot of skins defected to the merge network
